Publishing houses that publish works in Catalan or related to Catalan culture. Media that use the Catalan language for their communications. Individuals, groups, businesses, organizations, entities or initiatives, however constituted, who carry online communications in Catalan. Fundació puntCAT Members Correct Usage and Fulfillment Policy When registering a .cat domain name you must fill out, as part of the process, an intended use declaration for the domain you register. This statement doesn't have to be too detailed, but it has to be true. If once you have obtained the domain name, the use is different from that indicated in the "intended use", Fundació puntCAT may ask you to explain why and may even block the domain name (for example, keep you as the owner but not be operating for any Internet service such as web, mail, etc.). Fundació puntCAT can also block your domain if you make an unacceptable use of it, such as spamming or reselling domains. Of course, you can always change your "intended use" statement, but in any case, this change must comply with the .cat Registry's eligibility card (described above).
